Philomén is an eco-friendly swimwear brand for the conscious woman. Our name - Philomén - has Ancient Greek origins, and simply means „to be loved”. This is the message at the heart of our brand: to love and care for nature, while exploring the world.
Devoted to the art of sophisticated, yet timeless European design, we’re celebrating femininity with carefully tailored swimwear, inspired by the vitality of spring waters, the beauty of the oceans and the softness of nature. This unique combination gives our pieces the signature look of luxurious sophistication. Our aesthetic is effortlessly confident. We cater to the modern woman, who likes to slow down from time to time and enjoy life at its fullest.
The brand’s designer and creative director, Zita Csabai graduated in Fashion Design from the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design, Budapest in 2015. Zita is responsible for the design, patternmaking and tailoring process, while overseeing the talented seamstresses who bring to life the vision of Philomén. Living and designing in Budapest, the capital of iconic thermal baths, made her fall in love with all things water. Zita also loves travelling and exploring the world.
